The Wall
A video editor by profession, Chan leads a depressing and isolating life, due to his big toe. Wherever he goes, he avoids people, although they may look welcoming to him. One day, he runs into a poor girl, who changes his mind.

"Most of us are always scared to show our weaknesses or negativities to others, especially to the world. People who have history of trauma due to stigma, they are even more closed. Chan, the main character in this story, thought that there are no hope and no ray of light in the whole world, after his mother had died."
In this film, I used shoes as a metaphor to reflect the concealment of a person’s real situation. But when someone wears our shoes, they will understand our feelings as well as our situations.
When Chan tried to bury his weakness deeper and deeper, it made him more scared and lonelier. The purpose of the film wants to show that, in fact, there are strong walls in our hearts that are blocking us from walking to the light. Destroying those walls or not, only you can decide.
